Two exciting new books this fall

On September 28th, Terri Thal, once partner of Dave Van Ronk and an early manager of Bob Dylan, releases My Greenwich Village: Dave, Bob, and Me. A picture from 1963 or early in 1964 shows Terri, Suze Rotolo, Dave, and Bob walking down the street (see entry on Suze Rotolo in members’ pages). Now all 4 have memoirs: (Suze, A Freewheelin’ Time), Dave (Mayor of McDougal Street), and Bob (Chronicles Volume One). To this time period, you can add Positively 4th Street: the lives and times of Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Mimi Baez Fariña, and Richard Fariña by David Hajdu.
