Book Review: Blood in the Tracks

After the classic album Blood on the Tracks was recompleted in New York, Dylan had second thoughts and rerecorded half the tracks in Minnesota with local musicians organized by Bob’s brother David Zimmerman. These musicians were not credited on the album and Blood in the Tracks: The Minnesota Musicians behind Dylan’s Masterpiece by Paul Metsa and Rick Shefchik tell their story.
